Any luck with last names .com?

I just found an available .com that is a last name (not mine) and the name also has some OVT results (without extension)

Actually, I just found out that the last name belongs to a girl who was killed years ago and it was pretty controversial, her full name gets a 180 from OVT while the last name alone gets 30... (that may give it away, but that is fine...)

Just wondering if people here would consider a domain like that a good reg?

Yes. For $6, try it out. If it doesn't get any uniques, then don't renew it. But chances are that it will (As a last name... who hasn't checked to see if their name.com is available?).
After you register it, do let us know what it was (Or if you decide not to register, tell me and I'll throw some $NP your way ).

Well, I went for it, I agree that at reg fee it is worth a gamble, but then I look at all of the domains I "gambled" on in the past and I shake my head...

Oh well, at least I made an educated guess on this one, thanks for the advice Allan...
