I just did a shorty study of OVT results WITH extension and I'm wondeing if I've been doing it WRONG all this time... or at least partially wrong
In the TEST EXAMPLE searching TESTEXAMPLE.COM only gets a partial OVT result... in fact, it would be far MORE by also searching: TEST EXAMPLE .COM
Note the SPACES in between the words.
More specifi example...
"Google"
Google (without extension) 18021562 results
Google.com shows 5143827 results
Google com (no DOT before the com) 95808
Google .com shows another 74464 results
That's a significant increase
What this shows is that there is a diversity even within the people that search WITH extension. It also shows that OVT doesn't show a preference (or automatically include) searching a word pushed together or separated by spaces.
So the quetion is, do these numbers BUILD on one another and include the previous search results/variables in them or does the OVT engine consider it a completely different search result?
Doesn anyone really know?
