I recently moved a couple of hundred domains to Name Drive. I liked the look of the parking pages and the ad options. However in the first six days the click through rate has been dismal. Maybe its to early to tell.

Anybody else with positive or negative experience of Name Drive.

I have 32 names there and last month was very good for both clicks and APC but so far this month are both down considerably.

Thanks Hark, I'm just finding things very strange.

I'm getting many more unique views on some domains that received little or no uniques at Sedo.

Yet other names that used to recieve consistent 4-6 uniques a day are recieving nothing now at name drive.

I can understand why click throughs may differ but type ins are type ins. Why should it make any difference where they are parked to recieve the normal samount of uniques?

Very confused.

Hmm, maybe its just the time of year, most of my domains are parked at Sedo, and it has been a slow start to the month on some of the names that used to attract more uniques.

I tried parking some names at Afternic, and briefly tried DomainHop, but they were diappointing.

Your question is interesting, and I think it raises an important issue about the technical methods of different parking sites.

Looking forward to more on this topic!

Yes, This is the big question, why should uniques differentiate from one parking company to another?

This parking thing is indeed strange. I am becoming convienced that not all parking uniques come from typeins. They must be getting searches funneled from wherever and spreading it around their clients names.

I have a newly reg'd 2 word .ws parked at ND where the words have OVT of 961914 and 636622 (sad especially since both words have OVT bids up to $10.00). The name as of a few minutes ago has 126 views and zero clicks since Jan. 1. I will bet that there ain't been 126 typeins to this .ws.

During first 2 days on january i got like 90 and 140 views/day during 2 days then almost nothing on 2 domains.
I searched once for some links of one of my parked domains and found links on a parked Namedrive page, like an auto promotion of domains on namedrive.

I've been using NameDrive in Dec. and Jan. and January's clickthroughs have been less than december's so far. But it's such an iffy business. I would recommend putting some domains on one parking site and some on another at the same time. Try them out for a month or two, and if not happy with the results, switch the names to the other parking service. I've done this a few times and sometimes the compared results are surprising.
