What I don't understand though is how the keyword "Answers" goes well with "TV" extension to attract that kind of money. I always thought it's mostly names suitable for TV networks that get those kinda sales. Someone, please explain this with something other than the law of DEMAND.
@goweb there is no real explanation, you can't get one until you speak to the buyer, there have been some great sales in .tv that would not be looked at as intuitive to the extension.
Goweb - yes quite a few published sales don't seem to make sense relative to our own personal experience trying to market our portfolio. But it really just takes one buyer with a fat wallet who wants your domain to generate a big sale. MB quite often announces five-figure sales for domains I and many domain investors would not even backorder. How he manages to do that on a regular basis is amazing. Personally I have been paring my portfolio of .TV domains which aren't really video centric but we continue to see sales for regular keywords. The good thing about seeing these five-figure sales published is it keeps the extension visible and is a reminder that those low $XXX offers are not from serious buyers.
