ANOTHER ccTLD launched? YEP! Look look!

Yes Npers,

ANOTHER ccTLD has launched, thus tempting our wallets again.

This time the ccTLD is: .LC (Saint Lucia)

Reg fee is: $75. Unfortunately, it seems like the entire one character spectrum has been taken by the registry + all the country codes (so no de.lc ) and most of meaningful two letter combos.

Not only that, many of the top generic one keywords are gone. . Managed to grab poker/casino somehow though :hehe: .

Apparently they are trying to sell weird combos such as .L.LC .

Whatever, try and scrounge for whatever is available, it seems like you can only register GENERIC words at the moment, all trademark related names are on "Sunrise" till june 30th.

Email, Hotel, Hotels, Game, Games, Domain, Domains, and Blog are all left, but I'm not really getting ccTLDs anymore...someone else have at it! Kinda sucks, some names like Web and Travel were not released, not to mention adult names from the looks of it.

.LC......let see...every time a new ccTLD becomes available the only thing that comes to mind is a great keyword and domain hack to register. Most great keywords are taken and I couldn't think of any good domain hack in this extension so i'll pass on this new ccTLD.

I had .LC on my TLD site (see sig) for awhile - over a year for sure. The price i had was $50. What is new apparently is that they have opened up second level names, such as poker.lc - used to have to get poker.com.lc .

There also used to be a local presence requirement and a two week processing time.
.L.LC = Limited Liability Corporation --- perhaps the first offically promoted domain hack!

Too many cc's already, I will probably sit this one out. They never seem to run out of islands.
