was MyrtleBeach.tv, a city with a population below 50K. See Poodleman is it case by case.

don't go reg all the beach domains poodle, I already got the highest search term city/town combos with the name beach. The ones i didn't reg have very low search volume or were regged.

I wish everyone luck. I believe you know where to find me and I'm always willing to give my opinion and offer help to other people trying to get a business off the ground.

Don't PM me.

Best wishes, localexperts. And thank you again!

Speaking of geos:

I registered TraverseCity.TV a few months ago. Even though the actual city population is under 20,000, according to Wikipedia, Traverse City's "Micropolitan Statistical Area was the 13th largest in the United States, with a population estimate of 141,011." It's also consistently rated one of the best small towns in America, huge tourist destination, lotsa golf, etc., National Cherry Capital of the World, the Traverse City Film Festival (Michael Moore is co-founder), incredible Grand Traverse Bay and numerous gorgeous inland lakes. I registered traverse.tv and tctv.tv, too.

I'm excited about development of this - it's the domain nearest and dearest to my heart - so while it might not be the best .tv for anyone or everyone, I think it is the best one for me.

Any thoughts?

All I can say about this name, is WOW $16000!!! Sorry, I live in the middle of the Pacific Ocean and have never made it farther East than Colorado. I have no real knowledge of Myrtle Beach, I may have heard it in passing, but my jaw dropped when I saw this thread. I have been waiting to register a similar name that has been in my brain for a week now. Once I read this thread I had to take it, no doubt in my mind. This morning I registered
WaikikiBeach.TV
You suprised me with this purchase. If you can develop it into an amazing site as intended, then it was a good buy. I live in Hawaii so I may just develop mine too! I am going to see what it takes to legally setup privately funded webcams at Waikiki beach! Im not talking about the super low resolution ones either. You confirmed my intuition about names like that! Im not expecting too much, I realize not everyone is lurking around the corner with that kind of money! Best of luck and work hard! Thanks for the inspiration!

Great reg!

This reminds me that I was in front of this webcam 4 months ago: Waikiki Beach
I love your webcam idea because it was nice for my family to see me when I was at the other side of the world ;)
And I am quite sure a webcam site would get a lot of traffic.
