I was wondering if anyone knows anything about WebMoney[.]com?

Seem the cost of sending affiliate payments through Bank Wire have exploded...therefore making it a useless source of transfer.

Paypal is not an option for the one I want to change, so wanted some feedback on WebMoney [.] com if anyone has tried it.
Thanks

[wasn't really sure where to post this - since it is parking/monetization related]

Webmoney is managed by the Russians. Other payment methods are check, Skrill , Payoneer , Perfect Money.

Thanks for the suggestions.

I believe it's the only alternative the company offers other than the Bank wire I currently use with them.
I'm in Canada and it seems to cost alot more in fees now.

But by the time it gets transferred to them, and I transfer to my bank
the fees may end up about the same anyway.

Webmoney and PerfectMoney are not accepting people from US anymore due to stringent anti money laundering laws and policies of US. This was the reason LibertyReserve faced lot of heat and its CEO got arrested. From that day onwards WebMoney & PerfectMoney have stopped accepting US customers. I don't know whether it affects you as it shows you are from Canada. Good thing about this service is that chargeback is not possible but bad thing is if there CEOs get arrested then you lose all your money as people lost lots of money on Liberty Reserve. Better would be to transfer it to your bank account asap after receiving money.

I think Payza (Alertpay) accepts Canadian and US residents/citizens.

I think Payza is a good option for you.

BTW, Webmoney is way more secure for online transactions.

Came across Dwolla.com the other day. They claim "No percentages. No hidden fees. Just 25¢ per transaction or free for transactions $10 or less."

"Dwolla is a payment network that allows any business or person to send, request and accept money. We're not like those other big payment companies that rely on plastic cards and charge hefty fees. Instead, we’ve built our own network that securely connects to your bank account and allows you to move money for just $0.25 per transaction, or free for transactions $10 or less."

Dwolla is not too far from me.

More I read about it locally, and nationally, the more I think that this is really the alternative to paypal and other online payment companies.

You mean wmtransfer.com , this is the english version of webmoney.ru , and yes is a very good money transfer option, but please check the exchangers fees because; I think that webmoney is more expensive than bank wires and paypal. Now depends where you need to use that. I hope it's understandable what I said.

Payoneer and 2checkout are the most common payment method I see besides paypal. How about trying them out and see how it goes? Every payment method has it's disadvantages but they also have an advantage. It's all about trying and judging them yourself if it does work or not for your business.

Unfortunately as I mentioned in my first post, the ONLY alternative
is webmoney,
and I was asking for the feedback from people
who have used it...since you haven't - and didn't read my post
no need to comment eh?

zidane I agree with you. I use payoneer and is a good payment method.

Please read the first post...
