Sedo payouts via PayPal: Will PayPal charge fees?

I just made a sale through Sedo and am wondering which payout option is cost-free, or offers the lowest fee.

(1) Wire payments seem to usually trigger a C$10 receiving fee from my bank even though Sedo pays the transmission fee

(2) Paypal payments seem to usually involve a fee

(3) Cheque payments seem to be fee-free, unless my bank charges to deposit a GBP cheque from a foreign bank

Which option would you suggest?

PS. just wanted to add that Fabulous.com payouts via Paypal does not incur any fee by Paypal

i this case...i will choose paypal...the fee incurred seems to be lower

It depends.
You should choose based on your own situation. I don't know how much your banks in CA charge to deposit a GBP cheque from a foreign bank.
So, do some maths and choose the cheapest one.

go with paypal, you get it faster and its less of a hassle

for larger payments of $1000 or more id do wire

there is no fee,

you would get the exchange rate at the bank at the time of deposit ( from GBP to CAD)

but with cheques, you gotta wait for them, then drive to your bank

When SEDO pays me every month there are no fees taken out because they pay me through their bank account.

Thanks to all for the valuable input. Here are some official responses I got:

Via Paypal, an approx. 3% fee will be imposed
Via check to my Canadian bank, a $2 fee will be imposed for the forex transaction and the check will be held for 30 days if drawn from outside Canada/USA
Via wire to my Canadian bank, a $10 fee will be imposed

Based on the above, and considering the sale amount, Paypal is swift but most expensive so I have decided to go with the check payout. I have no idea where the payment would be sent from anyway - buyer's country, seller's country, UK, Germany, Canada, or...!

I will update this thread with my experience.

I would just use paypal.
The fee isn't that much.
