Does anyone seriously know a good alternative to paypal? They are steadily putting all my incoming transactions on hold as they want "more information" but i think we all know what they do with our money when they put it on hold! So yeah paypal suck donkeys...

I am thinking nochex but they closed my account due to me not ever actually using it. Which i have emailed them about.

Anyone seriously know a good payment processor with no monthly fees?

MoneyBookers, Google Checkout and NoChex are my options. NoChex is OK so long as you use it. They will charge ยฃ5 per quarter that you don't use it apparently, but if you have no funds in your account, they won't charge you I don't think.

It does seem silly for them to close accounts though. Maybe temporally putting the accounts on hold would be a good idea, but not to delete them surely?

MoneyBookers and Google Checkout are my top two at the moment. 2Checkout is decent too, but fees are a little high.

Ones to avoid ClickBank, Greenz-ap and e-Gold.

Google checkout is probably your best bet - otherwise look at 2checkout.

Well nochex don't actualy "close" accounts i think they just lock them until you contact them which is what i am doing.

Only thing is - does anyone know if moneybookers or google checkout has anything like paypals PDT (payment data transfer)?

Moneybookers would be a great option, with very low fees setup. Did you try them or had a look over their website?

No idea really.

I had a read through this a couple of weeks back whilst I was adding the option to my directory. I didn't check for PDT-style things as all my links are manually approved.

http://www.moneybookers.com/merchant/en/automated_payments_interface_manual.pdf

EDIT: It looks as if they do respond using XML, see pages 4 - 9.

You should also check out moneybooker's integration manual; it's got quite a bit of good info. in there, INCLUDING 2.3.6 which looks like the response stuff they will send to you it looks it. I have chosen to simply receive an email on someone sending me money, but you configure it to send the data to your server.http://www.moneybookers.com/merchant/en/moneybookers_gateway_manual.pdf

Also, for Google Checkout, there should be something in the control panel, I couldn't remember so I googled it! You should need something with XML here also, it looks like they call it notification callback.
