Alexa trick?

while checking an expired name at pool, this is what happens.

i type the name in alexa search box, say a name like aaaaa.com. instead of showing the stats for aaaaa.com

i am re-directed to the stats of bbbbbb.com

question: if the domain is for sale. who is doing the redirecting?
alexa? the former owner?

That's a weird situation. Never heard of that happening before. Are the two domains linked in some way?

I see this all the time, it is when alexia has determined that the domains are related and share the same content and or had redirects.

how can i check the stats of the particular name then? if it redirects......???

from alexa? you can't. And you have to be wary of the specs for a name that has other names aliased to it as well.

No, you cannot
