Alexa rating question for websitedirections.com

Hello everyone I am a Newb and had a couple quick question in regards to one of my domain names. I have the domain websitedirections.com
I have not done anything with the domain, however, it has a alexa rating of 14,000,00. I know thats not a great alexa rating but my question is 1)can a domain name without a site have alexa rating or is this some sort of mistake and 2) does a domain with a alexa rating carry any more value? and 3) should I be looking to buy domains that carry a alexa rating already. Thanks for the help...

Alexa Rank is a relative measurement on how popular a web site among the Internet community. Alexa is relative because it depends on the data of Alexa Toolbar users.
IMO it does not carry value with alexa rating domain. Instead of concentrating alexa, you should look for a good keyword domain
