debate Alcy gone fishing

by now many know alcy like bodis lander.. 5yr habit.. best stats ...one click bulk changes no ads of course parking dead ..

anyway today alcy woke up with idea to change all names to bin from inquiry form.. bodis uses escrow com... so one click later ... alcy put all on 38k... I know I know it's long shot... but .... thats how alcy got his 2 top sales... warezio 24k and fidoxyz 30k over last yr or so ..

so for now.. gone are lowballers ... good name or less good everyone see 38k bin

and yes alcy could edit some bins for some names ... but alcy lazy domainer so he just spent 1sec on tis..

who know ..maybe tomorrow alcy wake up and spend 1sec again put em all at 20k

I already do same one bin for all on afternic.. just to get on an network. I think now I have 70k there..

so this is also part of whale fishing technique whereby alcy put 70k elsewhere but then whale swim to alcy lander and see 38k

I like the Bodis and the NamePros landers if looking for simple escrow transactions. In an effort to talk like you and avoid 5 minutes of random watch talk I'll say...

Bodis take 1 second off watch
NamePros take 2.6 second off watch so Bodis must be custom made for Alcy
Confucius say you don't catch fat whale with tiny escrow hook so Alcy must need 38k escrow hook

Why doesn’t alcy try to use NP landers? There at least he could clearly see the stats on what's ''clicking'', and visitors could talk to alcy directly - maybe even beg to buy some of his domains for $25,000 if they can’t afford $38,000.

I like high bins as long as the page has a way the serious buyer have a way to contact you or someone. If you insist on staying at Bodis, you should know it allows you to add a banner on all pages on top and you can put a contact email or number there including to Afternic and you can link it too, I think they call it custom text.

yes to banner but that also means parked ads page... the page I showed I cant add banner there.

I guess np lander would have such option.. but thatcomes at cost . . no stats .. no one click price changes ... and focking cloudflare after buyer click submit

I tried it. it's why I left

ideal would be to edit most bins on my 700 names ... do per name basis... but we all know how fun that is

I think the way I look at it now with no contact or ois offer and same high bin for all is that truly it is like fishing... many names are too high and I lose some smaller buyers but I still have hook out for whale on big sale ... so if catch made one bigger sale will make up for lost small ones..

plus who is really to say that what I think might be 5k name and if I put 5k on it... that name might still be worth 40k to buyer

too much spam filtering etc
last I tried I saw cloudflare for 1 minute after I press submit to test it

maybe one day I go back

for now trying np 5 time and seeing stuff I disliked cost me too much DNS change time ... so it wasnt meant to be .... so far

I think the points imade I post above are valid. I'm big fan of make offr only. did it always before ... except no sales and few offers maybe means alcy need try new shit now

Raising the price like this is totally fine - sometimes it's good to give the buyer a different perspective. )) As for landers, personally I don't think Afternic provides any value these days.

What I like about NP is the stats, owning leads, and full-page customization. I've never had issues with spam there, and the support is great.

Of course I did. In my settings (BIN+Contact the Seller), after you proceeded with either one, you (as buyer) asked to verify email (that's where all spam peels off), after that you basically proceed with payment (Atom in my case) or with a writing message to the seller. That's pretty much it - all fine.

I saw no delay at all. And I just re-checked before posting half an hour ago. The only thing - the NP email to confirm buyer's email went to spam, but that's pretty normal for all automated email...

If a name is good, the price is good and the timing is good, it will sell no matter where it is in terms of lander. As long as it's on the main marketplaces..The main problem is the AN penalty. 10-15% extra commission depending on the price can be a lot of money, if it sells as buy now on AN.

That’s not good, that could actually kill a sale. Going to try a few others out to see what happens. Any emails going to spam would be a no go for me.
