advice Just decided on simple url forward for lander

after years on bodis lander.. lately direct no ads.. and also trying 10s of other landers.. I decided today to go vogue.. imean rogue lol.. and use my own url forward.. its just simple google sheets cause I'm simple guy lol

pros of this vs others... get buyer email for free flow negotiation... get his email for much lower 5p checkout link... keep lead forever if u wanna take his offer later... no ad blocking... and few more maybe u add...

I always was leads guy for 5% link.. afternic is good.. so was dan. so bodis... np.. or this were always my optons ... but I know most here pay 10 to 30 percent for atom lander.. afternic.. dyna... etc . maybe this make reconsider

here plz discuss anyhing related.. my url now shows whole folio too.. tho really many landers show seller other namsa option too.. but I may change it later.. just keep Email .. which I think is all I need.. ps I love google sheets and all Google stuff plus i cant code so this is good for me

it's not fancy with mountain flower view or Angels but I believe buyer needs only email to buy

fun fact... stealth url forward on dyna used to hate google sheer years back and when I tried I just got blank page... now it works and I also get name in address.. I may not be so lucky when I do this on other places...

I got really peed off when people said bodis bad on ad blocker.. I thought direct lander was kinda immune.. I hear other landers afternic etc alzo not immune.. I guess tis here is kinda immune

well it also feel good to have full control on what lander says and look lol... maybe I add phone number or recent sales etc..

I guess that's why many build their own sites as lnders.. with or without showing other namsa too..

except google sheet is free..zero hosting
..and takes 5mins to make.. plus to me simple is best

I'm gonna have to check how unstoppable does url forward.. got lucky with dyna putting name in address bar.. checked last nite sav doesnt so it and puts sheets address in bar.. which is problem causs then I'd need to say like... the domain u typed in browser is for sale...

You didn't like how NP landers are fully customizable and even allow you to monetize them yourself with your banners and links? Feel free to check one of mine to see what I mean about banner monetization on a NP lander.

You didn't like how NP landers are fully customizable and even allow you to monetize them yourself with your banners and links? Feel free to check one of mine to see what I mean about banner monetization on a NP lander.

I used google sheet all my life for domain folio.. easy.. portable etc..plus I'm into simplicity and minimalism.. genetically... plus I totally believe a buyer who wants your name doesn't care for mountain view background on lander or anything other than owner contact info.

thought you ment you had an ad and wanted to know if ad blockers were hiding it.

I saw it fine on mobile and laptop.

Though, if you used a doc file instead of a sheet. Docs do allow images and hyperlinking, so you could technically monetize a doc file with banner ads.

Added note: wouldn't it work out the same or better forwarding to your portfolio instead of a sheet?

Keep in mind, if all your domains forward to the same sheet with no unique content, they won't be indexed in SERPs and will wind up in the supplemental index or potentially penalized.

Ideally, you want each domain to render unique content to potentially benefit from related niche organic searches.

If something works for you then why not? But it does not look professional and I think something nice, simple and clean can be used for your case that might also help people find other names you have easier on the page. Personally I would use np, an, atom or whatever landers over the sheet.

I agree that many buyers when they want a name they don't care what's on the lander, I actually said that many times. However, in this business, we don't have this huge volume of buyers, so we need to do what we can to try to maximize the chance of a sale.

Here is a simple lander that looks better than the sheet, let's users filter a bit, export what they filter.

If you cloak redirect like you do now, the name will appear on the top of the page (domain.com is for sale) IF you don't, you can turn it off by setting

to false

You can host it free on cloudflare or take the code (its all in one page) and host it on any host.

When you sell a name, just remove it from the html file.

like I said my main motivator to do this was recent talk on dyna tread ..I mentioned my bodis lander .. no ads... and thought it was good with ad blockers but likely not

so now i probably eliminated all ad blockers

its devastating thiking some buyer just sees blank page on a lander.. especially now when sales for most are way down and gd auctions kaput which for me were main sale point... and now 90percent domainers rely on lander sales. suddenly lander becomes crucial

but really .. I also want free flow negotiation by email
not some bs preset sedo or other take your turn offer.. or wait 7 day for your turn .. or sorry buyer canceled negotiating.. buyer email is total freedom.. plus I pay 5k on 100k sale .. not 10k or 30k lol

tnx.. yes.. I get your point. for now I'll stick to this. I ve seen 10s of premium com million dollar names over years just sitting on a .... domain for sale contact owner here... lander... or sale page.

I personally do not think we need more. and more has opposite effect of optimizing lander for a sale. but for sure I agree we need rely on lnders now more. most sales are there.

to me most important is no ad blockers.. as someone said there are 10s of blockers and 30milion downloads each lol

If it turns into sales when they hear the price, that's a different story. Reminds me of these stores that hang up "Going out of business" signs even though they are not or the store that can't move inventory so he sets up a garage sale and there people rush to buy stuff.
