question Afternic Trending Domains - Trending forever?

Who know's how the so-called Afternic "Trending" Domains section right on their homepage works?

I recognized that the exactly 4 domains showcased there are there to...stay. To me it seems that this section is not data-driven, EG like Sedo's sections. A waste of valuable space, no?

That educalia dot org domain scratches my eyes everytime I open Afternic's homepage.

One should seriously think about the value of the domain if not sold after 2 years!
And that on Afternic homepage.

Guess organisational blindness hits us all from time to time.

they havent' been updated anymore since Afternic got acquired and integrated by GoDaddy back in late 2013, to be exact.. seems the guy responsible for that area got sacked back then lol..

Afternic does a ton of sales and brings good money in Godaddy's pockets ... I think the site deserves a makeover ... a shame it works well in terms of sales but it has a 2002 look and functionality. It should only cost about $10k-$20k to upgrade it to todays standards for Christ sake...

What I don't understand: They seem to be happy with what is.
Every business owner knows that such potential shouldn't be wasted.
