Has anyone ever sold a name via price request?

I recently changed my strategy from bin to make offer just to test the waters. I am getting tons of requests but I dont ever even get a offer back.

Im just curious to know if anyone ever completed a sale this way or if it's just a complete waste of time.

I feel price requests are a complete waste of time. Real offers are always good.

Yes it worked a few times for me but the % is not great

Yes, many times. It helps to have an account rep there who will actually follow up with the inquiring party and advise you if there is a counter-offer. If you have a decent portfolio, ask for an account rep.

Also, the intelligence gathering value of knowing that there was an offer is worth the price of entry. It cost you nothing to be alerted that a domain you have is of interest to a buyer.

Ok after about 30 price requests I have a pending sale
