fyi, beware

is #Afternic showing "not using Afternic NS" on domains that ARE on ns1/ns2.afternic.com?

Especially after expiry/renew. Just got hit with 30% commission on a Fast Transfer sale even though NS never changed. Registrar confirms Afternic NS the whole time.
Anyone else seeing this?

Anyone ever been in this situation?

I had an inquiry on a domain so I supplied the BUY and FLOOR prices, then it just sat there for a week or so.

This morning I noticed on my dashboard there was an "Offer Accepted" update, then more recently there was a "Payment Received" update along with a status change to "Sold", all without any email notifications at all.

The big problem is, that I still don't know the price it sold for...

I really hope Afternic updates the sold price before they start asking me for a transfer code.

Possibly the buyer offer matched your floor price and broker accept it and sale proceeded !

Yes, and possibly they might have accepted my Buy Price, or anywhere between my Buy and Floor prices. I've had all these scenarios happen during my long Afternic career. I've even sold a few domains higher than my Buy Price (high five to the broker).

That's my point.

I have a feeling the Afternic system is really backed up and eventually the dashboard will update and all my email notifications will pour out.

That's a best case scenario. More realistically, it will only get worse from here.

Mine are. Know that Dyna does not show listings below certain pricing amounts so be sure to check your more expensive names (just in case the sample you are checking are priced on the lower end)

I found one $4888 name that appears *, but several others don't (including one that is registered at Dyna and FT enabled).

Also, I got no response from a broker in two weeks. I'm tired of this shitshow, thinking of switching exclusively to Spaceship.

Still no updates or email notifications on this "Sold" transaction.

GoDaddy (surprise!) has issues. I received an email notice for a transaction failed/refund pending yesterday for a name that I paid for on 7/24. I never received a notice that the registration had failed. I knew but GoDaddy didn't send me any notice until yesterday.

And, yes, there have been other issues. Be patient. GoDaddy is a work in regress.

Yesterday I sold a domain name at the Buy Now price. I provided the auth code and the domain has already been transferred. However, the Transaction Activity shows Domain transfer failed. I sent a message yesterday asking what the issue is but I haven't received a response yet. I hope Afternic resolves these problems soon.

I wonder if they started the transfer, but there's a 60-day lock stopping it? Can you still see the domain name in your account, or is it gone?

It is a .eu domain, so theres no 60-day transfer lock. The transfer has definitely been completed, the WHOIS already shows the new owner's details en registrar. I also received a confirmation email from my registrar stating that the domain has been transferred to other registrar. The domain is also no longer listed in my Afternic account.
