By popular demand, we have launched a dedicated feedback thread for Afternic, the GoDaddy-owned domain name marketplace.

We have created this thread as a way for you to tell us what works, what doesn't work, and what features you'd like to see at Afternic (please be constructive with your feedback). We're looking forward to hearing from the domain investment community to help us shape the future of Afternic.

Please take another look at the screenshot.

Previously, if the minimum offer exceeded the value shown in the "Why it's great" panel, GoDaddy would shown only second sentence: " Travel and China are widely used keywords".

Also, when I change a .si domain to Afternic nameservers, the registry is giving an error. Something about AN servers not matching something on Namefind servers. If anyone has experienced this issue with .si domains and fixed it, let me know what you did.

This is a well-known issue with ns1/ns2 that Afternic still has to fix on their end.

As a Seller, you can workaround this by setting ns3/ns4 or ns5/ns6 (recommended for all your AN landers, btw).

That workaround is no longer needed.

You can now use ns1 & ns2 without problems.

Every freaking "high value" keyword has an average selling price of about $2k (depending on how they are calculated, and naturally we peasants don't know how). By showing estimated value + "why it's great", you have double-torpedoed the seller's upside.

Now this is pure comedy. Torpedoes are kept in tubes, no est.value (because it's lower than min offer) and every buyer who's ever heard of Neom understands that "M" is completely irrelevant here. Godaddy is in effect torpedoing its own reputation when it comes to AI implementations. That system is an ancient dinosaur. Here is one of competitors (Dynadot):

FT from Unstoppable failed, I then sent the auth code manually after Unstoppable gave me it, it also failed, they gave me another I gave to the transaction assurance agent, no response. This is ridiculous. I feel sorry for the buyer, I wonder what they see from their end.

Update: An agent responded early morning. I accepted the transfer and it is now completed.

Why does Afternic accept payment and then request a domain transfer, but not set a Payout Date? I asked the TA last week and this week, and it's always "we're finalizing the payment".

Huh? Why didn't you finalize the #$&% payment *before* requiring me to transfer you the domain?

And worst of all, since then, I've got a pile of new Afternic leads that I absolutely refuse to engage with until I receive the payment - and yes, the brokers keep asking me for updates. No way I'm transferring any new domains over there before I get paid for the old ones.

We’re aware of the issue with Afternic landers and it's been escalated to our engineering team. We are investigating the cause and will provide an update as soon as possible.

Update: The landers are resolving correctly again. If you're still seeing any issues, please let us know.
