By popular demand, we have launched a dedicated feedback thread for Afternic, the GoDaddy-owned domain name marketplace.

We have created this thread as a way for you to tell us what works, what doesn't work, and what features you'd like to see at Afternic (please be constructive with your feedback). We're looking forward to hearing from the domain investment community to help us shape the future of Afternic.

We will also be sharing Afternic product updates in this thread.

On the payment side,Afternic is doing good for me with the fast payments sofar..I had one sale each in Feb,March and one in yesterday also..payout scheduled within 30 mins of yesterday's domain sale (transfer complete in between also) and today I got the funds also.

It was also the typical "HOLD" by GD for 3 days and then converted to Sale..seems some partner releted sale and they took time to verify it.

Also I really think that Afternic should come back with the Search Bar in the Afternic homepage..This will really help many direct buyers.

That should be something new. I had a sale a month ago where the domain was still under transfer lock, asked the transfer agent whether I can move the domain to their Dynadot account, but they told me they would ask the buyer first so no action needed from my side for the time being. Maybe I should ask them again

If the buyer agrees to take the domain at current registrar AND it's a registrar supported by Afternic, they allow it.

If either the buyer doesn't respond, or doesn't agree, or if the current registrar isn't supported by Afternic - they don't. You'll have to wait for the end of the lock.

I agree 100%. Not to mention the barrage of revived dead/stalled inquiries, months later—even when the buyer indicated that their budget was not that high!

No joke right? My Afternic/GD account is constantly having old leads being churned like mad, which tells me offers are way, way, way down so the brokers have nothing else to do other than exhume dead & buried leads.

GD definitely cut 'private domain sales' off of their main search engine, which seems to be killing overall domain listings traffic, offers and sales. It's a pretty sad situation.

When people searching for a domain at godaddy search they will get suggested results of odd/meaningless domains and others promoted tlds, But 90% of our listed premium domains are buried and doesn't appear to buyers unless they choose the AFTERMARKET !!
I am sure most of this customers they don't recognize the aftermarket since it is on the right side as a last option !!

Please @GoDaddy i suggest for you to cancel the aftermarket option and merge it with normal results , So buyers can find the result as a mixture of aftermarket premium domains and the suggested craps and other promoted tlds .
Thats easy and simple .

Thanks for your feedback. The aftermarket tab is a great step forward for Afternic-listing visibility, front and center at GoDaddy search. It's been a fixture of this section since last year and in that time, we've performed various tests to see whether moving its placement around increases clicks or sales. So, you'll likely see the position of this change, as we continue testing it.

In terms of names that are displayed there: alongside the aftermarket listings in the main "Results" tab - whether that's exact-match listings, or those in suggested search, we also provide added visibility to Boost names through this aftermarket tab. If your account is enabled for Afternic Boost, your names are eligible to be shown in both suggested searches and the aftermarket tab.

@GoDaddy Once a domain is sold and payment is scheduled, the domain completely disappears from the "Sold" overview, and in fact from all overviews in the dashboard; it cannot be found anywhere. This happens from the moment payment is scheduled, and even if payment has already been received via PayPal, it's still not visible. I know it will become visible again at some point, but please look into this, so that a sold domain never disappears from the [Sold] overview. Thanks.

Nothing comes up when I log into my Afternic account. Everything is blank. Is this happening to anyone else?

Afternic's top keywords for March are here!
"AI" continues its run at the top of the filtered chart, followed by "My."
"Group" moves up to third spot. Further down, "Health" makes a reappearance after dropping out of February's list.

The unfiltered list, containing all "filler" keywords, continues to be dominated by "the!"
