By popular demand, we have launched a dedicated feedback thread for Afternic, the GoDaddy-owned domain name marketplace.

We have created this thread as a way for you to tell us what works, what doesn't work, and what features you'd like to see at Afternic (please be constructive with your feedback). We're looking forward to hearing from the domain investment community to help us shape the future of Afternic.

We will also be sharing Afternic product updates in this thread.

I sold a domain on Friday through Fast Transfer, but the transfer is still in progress. Isn't it supposed that the transfer would happen almost immediately when is sold through Fast Transfer?

24 days, 3 auth codes - and still not starting the domain transfer.

Chat is not working. Customer support and TA keep asking me to wait, but nothing has been initiated. The domain whois is still "ok" and not "pending transfer"

@GoDaddy , how long are you planning to let the buyer and me wait - 2 months? 3?

If you're not going to solve the problem, please cancel the sale asap so I can relist it somewhere else. I don't think you have the right to hold the domain indefinitely and do nothing.

And we're not back.

So finally get auth email, click Authorize, check domains and Fast Transfer is now on.

Now today, all domains are in Pending Review with Fast Transfer off.

I also added 2 fresh, never on Afternic domains today few hours ago. No auth email yet. Update - This worked today, just arrived.

Can't make it go away, it has another owner now, it's like some stalker domain.

Looks like it's running as it should again. Last couple of times I've added domains, received opt in email shortly after.

That domain stuck on my page, is what it is. Some others have posted seeing the same thing.

Well, I joined the party. Sold a domain on Afternic yesterday and it asked me to unlock the domain and send authorization code.

I go to Godaddy and my domain isn't there. Been going in circles ever since.

Have you checked the WHOIS record for the date of the last change? It might have been fast transferred.

No, I'll check it. I assume it has been fast transferred, but not confirmed by either Afternic or GD. Thanks

Well, I guess it was my fault. I let the domain expire from GD in 2024 and Afternic or I didn't remove it.
Glad it was only $305 before commission. Finally got thru to GD rep and figured it out.

Thanks for confirming via DM that the transaction was completed. Generally, if Fast Transfer fails for any reason, you'll be asked to provide your Auth Code.

As we mentioned via DM, our TA team is looking into this, and we'll get it resolved as soon as possible.

@GoDaddy one month and no resolution is not acceptable. This cannot keep happening. Get this seller an answer. And put in place a better system so it doesn't happen to anyone else.

Thank you @Bearded Goat . The domain has been transferred and payment received today. It's just frustrating that nowadays we have to post our problems publicly to get them resolved.

When people searching for a domain at godaddy search they will get suggested results of odd/meaningless domains and others promoted tlds, But 90% of our listed premium domains are buried and doesn't appear to buyers unless they choose the AFTERMARKET !!
I am sure most of this customers they don't recognize the aftermarket since it is on the right side as a last option !!

Please @GoDaddy i suggest for you to cancel the aftermarket option and merge it with normal results , So buyers can find the result as a mixture of aftermarket premium domains and the suggested craps and other promoted tlds .
Thats easy and simple .
