By popular demand, we have launched a dedicated feedback thread for Afternic, the GoDaddy-owned domain name marketplace.

We have created this thread as a way for you to tell us what works, what doesn't work, and what features you'd like to see at Afternic (please be constructive with your feedback). We're looking forward to hearing from the domain investment community to help us shape the future of Afternic.

While a much better decision, that wouldn't have gotten an executive his bonus for "closing Dan and firing all Dan employees and developers by year-end".

And somehow they would have attempted some integration of Afternic into Dan, even just of inventory, and messed up Dan. No way they ever do anything clean.

Yep, I’ve had nothing on Afternic since then.

I thought it was just a delay or a problem with a few of my domains, but I just checked several of my high-traffic domains and they all absolutely fell off a cliff to '0 views" after Feb 10.

Same, I moved a couple to parking crew parking and they are still getting traffic daily. I was asking Afternic for real time stats last week.:)

How can I bulk modify my domain names? I want uppercase first letters in all of them

@End Game - Real time stats...I believe that's planned for one of the the 2055 updates.

Bought 2 domains via Afternic - both were ultimately cancelled as they couldn't get the seller to transfer. They waited 3 weeks to refund. Frustrating.

Got a fast transfer sale approx 35 hours ago.

The mail says I don't need to do anything. However the dashboard says there's a "transfer error". I have messaged the TA thrice asking about it. No response yet.

Can you help.

I see many LTO cancellation after 1-2 months then the same buyer come back to a broker and request to continue or setup a new LTO within a very few days. I think that something is not as smooth as it was on dan as it was much more rare on dan.

@GoDaddy - It looks like the stats stopped updating on 02/10.

You might want to have someone look into it.

There are some simple steps you can take, @TopBrandsForSale:
  1. Download the bulk template, or export your portfolio from your portfolio page.
  2. Enter your list of CamelCased listings in the Domain column of either file
  3. If you're not adjusting any other settings (price, landers, LTO, etc) then make sure that the rest of the columns are blank.
  4. Make sure that you save the file as a CSV, then upload it through the Add Domains page.
  5. Your domain changes will be reflected quickly!

The automated "Congrats!" email you received offers standard advice for Fast Transfer sales. However, if there's an error, it's best to reach out to the support team via live chat at afternic.com/contact. Select "Sales Transaction Status" under "Request Type" to connect with the right agent.

Please feel free to DM us with the outcome once you've done that.

That's interesting, thanks @davidc1. Could you share some examples with us via DM? For context, the systems and policies for Lease to Own are pretty much identical to Dan's.

It’s a peekaboo chat bubble. I don’t know why it sometimes is not there, possibly because no live agent available atm, but why do we have to guess that and why is there not a placeholder icon that asks to wait for a moment.

It may be that you've previously rejected cookies on the site. To enable live chat, you'll need to accept the cookie notice. You could try visiting through an incognito window to see if that resolves the issue. We'll respond to your DM.

It's not necessarily because of cookies. Same browser and 5 minutes later the bubble suddenly appears.

I cannot add ANY domain name for sale from my dashboard. I can only do it from my registrar's account. Any time I try to add any domain name, I get a red message stating domain couldn't be uploaded. I contacted your Support, but they did not seem to understand my problem.

Are you getting this message with a warning triangle, E. Silvera?

1 domain couldn't be listed

I'm getting that every time that I add names. If so, it's just standard GoDaddy interface to embrace users with their excellence. Proceed and pretend it's not there. You should be able to add. I've been able to anyway. For names that need verification, though, I find that I need to verify and then start over.
