By popular demand, we have launched a dedicated feedback thread for Afternic, the GoDaddy-owned domain name marketplace.

We have created this thread as a way for you to tell us what works, what doesn't work, and what features you'd like to see at Afternic (please be constructive with your feedback). We're looking forward to hearing from the domain investment community to help us shape the future of Afternic.

Maybe I was right when I commented earlier here, that Godaddy wants to silence our portfolios, only I said in an other way.

Yes, the lack of sales (and inquiries) is very concerning. My Afternic portfolio had been performing very well for its size for nearly two years. But since the day Boost was launched it's just dead silence. I can't even hear crickets. Something is not right.

You never know, this AI panacea of implementing it in all the digital holes, may be like an uncontrolled virus, which connects to a Super Intelligence world wide, then it does some kind of Chaos internally in every business, per Sam Altman's desire, or at other's dude wishes who made other models and many businesses implemented them.

They lied that their boost experiments yielded impressive results before the official launch , and after the launch we experience the fact of no exposure and lack of sales !!!

Our domains didn't get more discoverable as promised !!
The truth is : godaddy suggested search results showing mostly results of cross promo's for hand regs and other garbage TLDS .

What's the benefits of "Verified" and "premium" badges if no sales happening !!?

They justify the decrease of traffic that DAN was showing Bot traffic but afternic no, and for the luck of sales maybe the justification will be that our domains are poor and not good quality !!

@DrJacoby , My money is on that Mickey Mouse, nothing gets added to your cart, express checkout for Fast Transfer domains they rolled out at @GoDaddy . (Formerly known as the #1 sales producing purchase path.)

When they were testing it, I noticed a pattern and every single time it went live, sales dried up through the GoDaddy purchase path. The moment they removed it, sales picked up.

Note: I only test in Chrome, Firefox and Safari and the "Express Checkout" is active in Chrome & Firefox browsers.

If the goal is to add any Fast Transfer domains to your cart in Chrome & Firefox, forget about it.

Your only option is to checkout. If you migrate away, it leaves you with an empty cart.

However, if you're using Safari, you can easily add multiple Fast Transfer active names to your cart, view your cart add or remove like normal people and checkout. (The way it should be.)

Since it's been live, the only Fast Transfer sales I've had through Godaddy were brokered. The rest were from partner registrars. Granted, it may be different for everyone, but I believe we're all in the same sinking boat here.

I've had more sales through Sedo lately than Afternic. When that happens, it's usually a very good sign something is wrong on the Godaddy/Afternic side.

As of today, I opted everything out of Fast Transfer.

@GoDaddy - Express Checkout should be OPTIONAL, not mandatory.

If Godaddy customers cannot add Fast Transfer domains to their cart. I don't need it.

There's no possible way it's "boosting" or increasing sales. (Not even by accident.)

I challenge @GoDaddy to prove me wrong about the Express Checkout.

Anyone still dealing with price change roulette ? The prices don't update properly for me half the time. When I change prices it could take 5 minutes, an hour, 5 hours, 15 hours, who knows to actually show up. This is for both the sales lander AND at the GoDaddy registration search path.

Have the same problem with Afternic , Landers , prices , don't update correctly .

The traffic stats seems to work OK for now .

Just a data point: Afternic's X account reposts shared sales, and 75% of the most recent ones (9 out of 12) have been other than .com sales.

Afternic team if your listening, no need to deflect, or deny, just get it fixed. I would also tell you to summon the powers that be, and turn on the BOOST taps for all at the current commission levels. This thread is going downhill fast, you can still salvage this, don't be to proud to listen to your client base. Good Luck!

He himself has reported a few sales via Afternic on X in the past few weeks. Not sure what's his definition of "low sales".

Regarding sales, yes, everything is slower, almost 0 new leads, otherwise stalled... Goddamnit.

I did not observe any significant decrease in Afternic sales (~1000 names in the portfolio) however almost none of my names are FT enabled.
Crazy to think Fast transfer could be preventing sales. @GoDaddy please take a look, this is serious.
