By popular demand, we have launched a dedicated feedback thread for Afternic, the GoDaddy-owned domain name marketplace.

We have created this thread as a way for you to tell us what works, what doesn't work, and what features you'd like to see at Afternic (please be constructive with your feedback). We're looking forward to hearing from the domain investment community to help us shape the future of Afternic.

As an update - still no payment yet, have been in touch with the godaddy support here via pm, and multiple reps via email, it seems like a complete mess, no one knows what anyone else is doing in the company. They keep saying the payment will be sent within a few days (it's been over 6 months) and then they come up with some weird reasons, or something I need to change in my profile, or payment terms, I change it and still no payment, then they tell me to change something else. Now they are telling me I need to receive my payment as a check.. What the heck is going on with this company? Is there anyone who can make decisions or take responsibility at all?

Thanks for the response(s). It is unnerving to go to the the site to see if the broker succeeded in getting an offer increase and see a blank page!

Even worse is making a sale a week ago (fast transfer) and still waiting to be paid. I'm getting tired of this BS.

Fast Transfer sales can take 7-10 days to close. If it's outside of that window, we encourage you to reach out to our support team through https://afternic.com/contact

I had a Fast Transfer sale on April 24, which was properly paid out via Paypal on April 25. But until today the status is still set to 'Payout Scheduled'. Apparently the system does not automatically understand that once the payment has been made to Seller, the transaction can be marked as completed. Contacting TA about this has not yielded a response, which makes me think there is understaffing in the department.

Thanks @GoDaddy. Coincidentally, the transaction has just been marked as completed, more than 2 weeks after payment has been made to me. Any idea how this could have happened, is it a manual process each time?

@GoDaddy I have been using NS1/NS2, but over the last month I see the message content is blocked in many of my parked names that previously were displaying ads. Why?

They will not help you here. They will write to you to contact the support team. If you want to list domains at Afternic without problems in future, then you do not need to use Godaddy as a registrar.GD blocked my account without explanation. I asked my friends to make transfer more than 120 thousand domains to other registrars. This was a punishment for GD and this will be a reason for you to think about whether it is worthwhile to use the GD as a registrar.

It does not depend on the country. It depends on the company's attitude to its customers. My friends who live in Europe and the USA had the same problems. They are tired of blocks and bugs and chose another registrar.

Is it just me or something is wrong with afternic account/payee(s) config? It shows notice "please setup the payee for domain sales" (naturally, done long time ago), and, even though the payee _exists_, it is impossible to view/edit it [something was wrong, please try again]

@tonyk2000 I can't get rid of these warnings, either. All my payment details are correct in the meantime.

What if you try to edit the payee? Does it show payment details?

Iโ€™ve got the same warning and tried going through the process 3 times before coming to the conclusion the problem is Afternic not me ๐Ÿ˜‚

In the Dashboard, Afternic suddenly starts asking to setup a payee account to receive domain sales payments. But I have already specified two payment methods in Settings. What's going on? So many errors everywhere.
@GoDaddy Can you find out what happened with this bug report? As is clear, this continues to be an issue among users. Thanks.
