We have created this thread as a way for you to tell us what works, what doesn't work, and what features you'd like to see at Afternic (please be constructive with your feedback). We're looking forward to hearing from the domain investment community to help us shape the future of Afternic.

Hi @Janoss,
If you didn't see the live chat icon, it might be because all our agents were busy.

This is poor UX. Consistency is important. Much better to show the chat either with a “we’re busy” or email contact option. Otherwise people either think they’re going crazy because they can’t find it, or just think Godaddy is broken again.

Exactly had no issues with Dan at all they were the best Domain Marketplace .

Will try SEDO for Ethereum247.com

The buyer put the offer on hold as he changed his plans after 4 days. ( meaning he went for another domain)

Hi @GoDaddy, not sure if this feature was requested already, but I believe the completed lease to own transactions should be moved to the sold section and they also to be included in the revenue generated field. It would make sense also if uncompleted LTO´s are featured here ( since some revenue was generated ). Alternatively divide the two sections and revenue generated via LTO and also for completed sales. What´s your take on this?

This word was not coined by Vitalic Buterin, it comes from Aethereum look on wikipedia, they are so mistaken, list in other places.
I have some Aethereum TLD's and they told same crap that is TM but it is not!

There are actually numerous trademarks for the word "ethereum" from various entities (not just crypto), but I'd guess Atom is focusing on the crypto aspect of it.

Still, they should be consistent with accepting/denying names based on that reason.

Sure, but there is a HUGE difference between being granted a TM for a generic term in a very specific business area, and owning a full TM on a made-up/non-generic term. Apple vs Google.

i.e. Right down the road in a mall we have an Apple Auto Glass, but I have yet to see another company named Google. Strange, huh?

What Afternic needs to do is release their Self-Brokerage System, as that is a core business function, rather than adding time-wasting, gamifying options such as likes, favorites, etc. that are worth about two dead flies.

People need to realize that this type of feature is created for the seller, and not the buyer, and it certainly has no effect on sales.

It's designed to keep sellers engaged with the marketplace, mindlessly viewing this, clicking on that, and adjusting something else, while the buyer doesn't give a rat's ass and just wants their domain at a price they can afford.

Sure, but let Afternic get their basic features and functionality set before worrying about that. You can't even negotiate there and the site has virtually no traffic or user stats.

It would be like putting chrome bumpers on an old rusty beater you just bought for $50.
