Hi,
Just a quick question for the pros, i have a geo+rents.net and i had set it on afternic with a min of 250$. I just received a notification from Afternic for me to either set a Floor price or Buy Now price. The way i understood it is if there is a Min, a potential buyer will make an offer and either i will agree to it or negotiate. My queries;
1 - why did i get a notification to set either a floor or buy now , instead of the offer from the potential buyer ?
2 - if a potential buyer made a lower offer then my Min , will i still get a notification ?
3 - Since " rents " is the talk of town, it's a hot potato, thus the value should be higher.
4 - the .com is going for mid xxxxx $.
5 - what price range should i be looking for .

whatever feedback will be appreciated in advance.

What often happens with Make Offer domains at Afternic, they receive an inquiry about a domain, and immediately shoot you this email, asking for you to turn it into a fixed price, notwithstanding the fact that you have set it at Make Offer. They will remind you 2 more times, and if you don't comply, they will remove your listing. They don't seem to care that you are asking for offers and you don't want to set a fixed price. I have never, ever sold a domain when I have been told to set it at a fixed price. I think these inquiries are all from tire-kickers.

Yep. I haven't taken it to the next step, which is to take all my fixed price domains at Afternic, and convert them back into make offer, but I think I will after this.
