Apologies if this has been discussed elsewhere, but after a quick search I can't locate any threads about it.
I noticed that Afternic has recently changed their listings to include "Basic Promotion" and "Expanded Promotion" options. The difference, according to them:
Basic Promotion:
* Promoted on Afternic and select partners
* Technical help available
* Automated bid-and-offer system for online sales
* 10% Sales Fee
Expanded Promotion
* Largest number of customers
* Promoted on Afternic, BuyDomains, and many partners
* Sales and technical help available
* Sales Team negotiates using your floor and asking prices
* Toll-free phone number on parked domains and listing pages
* Pricing consultation
* 20% Sales Fee
Has anyone opted for the "Expanded"? And in any case, does anyone feel that this is worth giving up a hefty 20% commission?
Interested in your opinions. I never get offers via Afternic, so increasing those odds seems appealing. However, that's a big chunk of the proceeds to have to give up... :imho:
