I don't yet have an adsense account, I have heard it's hard to get one. I am in the process of building my first website and would prefer to have an account before I publish it and wait for Google.

If I get a blogger account does that make it easier??

I 've got a CJ account so I can post ads in the mean time. With so may parking sites offering the ability to use your own adsense code I think I really need an account.

Thanks

it's not that difficult to get an adsense account.

just build your website with unique content and you will get approved within a week or so.

How many pages is the minimum? They say 15 but I see a lot of much smaller sites. I'm looking at maybe five to start.

The more, the better.
You will be accepted if your site have unique and meaningful content.
Not hard.

You shouldnt have a problem getting accepted. I applied and was approved before I had my website online.

I don't know about any 15 page requirement; my first site had only one page (although it is database driven) when I was approved.

However, there are a couple of posters on WebmasterWorld.com who have said recently that they've been waiting several weeks to get approved, so there may be a backlog at the moment.

Thanks, I think I'll get a blogger account and see if that speeds things up.

I think I saw the 15 page thing on the Adsense tips page.

I got approved within a few days using one of my sites parked at WhyPark.

I recently submited another AdSense application for one of my other businesses. It was approved in two business days. So I guess they don't have too much of a log jam.

Umm... if they find out you have multiple accounts, you will get banned, unless you inform them you already have the first one, and can provide a pretty darn good reason for it. Once you are approved, you can add as many sites as you like to your account without going through the the approval process, as long as they pass TOS. But having multiple accounts will most definitely get you banned, and likely without the possibility of reinstatement.

Netmeg,
I have asked Google about this in the past and it is possible to have multiple adsense accounts. If you legally create a company whether it be a partnership, corporation, etc you can have that company get an account. Then you can also have an account which you would use your name. As long as the other accounts are for partnerships or other registered companies then it is allowed.
