Adding rep?

Hi there

I think i have the right forum to ask this. How do you add someone's rep? I've tried looking around, checked the FAQ and also did a search but I'm not getting anything. Or is rep the same as NP?

Hi, NP$ and rep are different

and to leave rep for someone
on the left beside the member name, there is a green light, and a
set of scales beside it. If you click on the scales for the member you
want to leave rep for, the box will open.
