Rep in chat

I think I spend easily three times as much time in chat as I do in the forum. I get a lot of help from people in chat for coding issues, general domaining/webmaster help, etc... I think it would be really cool if I were able to rep+ them for those situations. Is there a way you can add a rep thing to the chatroom?
