Adding PayPal Funds to Registerfly

I realize they're having issues adding funds to Registerfly via PayPal, so I contacted support as instructed and they told me to send the amount and my PayPal address and they'd "process" it.

I subsequently received a response stating that the funds had been added.

However, even tho the funds showed in my Registerfly account, they had not been decremented from my Paypal account.

This didn't surprise me as simply having the PayPal address would only allow Registerfly to send me an invoice (which I did not receive).

I used the funds in my Registerfly account to renew a domain name, but I'm wondering how/when the funds will be deducted from my PayPal account?

I opened a ticket asking this question and have yet to receive a reply.

Anyone else encounter this?

If you had sent your funds to Registerfly the Paypal funds should automatically be deducated (unless you picked to take the $$$ from your bank account).

That's my point.. Registerfly instructs you now to send your PayPal address and the amount and they will process it for you.. they added funds after I sent this info, but I have noi idea where from as it's not been deducted from my PayPal account.. they never sent me an invoice and it shouldn't (and wasn't) deducted from my credit card on file.

I PMed Regfly here too.. haven't heard back from him yet either about this anomaly.. you'd think support would answer my ticket as well.

No, wait 2 days at least, that's how long they took to answer mine. The only reason I chose them was for a $5.50 .net special they had one point. But I strongly recommend not to pick them for anything else, their support & service is unfortunately lacking considerably

I know.. I've had to have Regfly bail me out a few times.. support there is terrible at times, but their user interface is one of the best, next to GoDaddy's.

Can't beat the ease of their Pushes....

These are the exact reasons we moved from RegFly. We won't stand by slow service. We give quality/fast service to our customers and expect the same from our upstreams and we won't settle for less then perfect, as that only gives our customers less then perfect service. And we don't do that.

I moved away as well, I love Regfly but the entire fact that they don't offer Paypal chases me away. I really wish they'd get it back.

They will get it back. They are just updating a few things.

Regfly just PMed this response to me:

Dave

They will be sending out a request for money this week for the funds they advanced to you. If all goes as planned our new CTO will approve the rollout of the paypal interface this week which will make life easier for all concerned.
