Hi, all!

I feel like I am addicted to buying and registering domains almost every day! I just keep registering and registering…Of course, I don’t register any domain but only the ones I think are valuable and generic (after I do my homework) …Maybe I need to start attending a “domains anonymous group” if there is one or something! Where you say:

Hi, my name is Karl and I am addicted to domains! HELP ME!

Domain addiction…I guess! Have you felt the same or just me!

Registering/buying domains can be a legitimate addiction. Just like gambling.

When you buy or register domains, you get dopamine release in your brain when you fantasize what the domain can potentially resell for, just like people who pull the lever on a slots machine or buy a scratch off. You can easily become addicted to this.

If you're not organized and an actual business plan with limits/budgets to stay within, choose another business.

If you feel you need help, stop "investing" now and look into other ways to make money online, start an Amazon business or something.

Thanks for the warning @tomcarl. Domaining is definitely a business of highs and lows, and its addictive potential needs to be monitored in anyone with those tendencies.
