Domain name addiction?

I found that I spend more and more time on buying domain names. I came to the conclusion that this thing is addictive. People warn you smoking or drinking will cause the addiction, but no one has warned me about domain name research being addictive. Last time I had the addiction problem was many years ago when Tetris was beginning to be popular, I had to erase the Tetris completely from my computer to stop playing.

Not that I have made money and rewarded from the domain, not yet. I have spent a lot more money buying real stocks with only a fraction of the time I have spent on the domain. Am I the only person? I just can't stop it.

But buying domains is seriously addictive, which is rather dangerous for someone like me on a tight budget.
I'm currently trying to justify my addiction by telling people i'll make decent profit once some are sold! :O

I got addicted for about six months, then non-stellar grades at uni taught me that I need to prioritize. I'm just now getting back into it again (as all of my domains are expiring, hehe), and remembering how much fun it is.

Yesterday, I spent 5 hours just searching for open domains...
And made 1 purchase.

to me it is very adictive to try to find available domain. I mean every thing poping up in mind i have to check instantly if it is available, but in same time when i find something it is really fun.

YEP, It sure is addictive, I enjoy the hunt but have now got 39 names with no sales ! and have come to the conclusion - Learn More - Buy Less - stop looking for more until I get a decent sale - Try promoting more the ones I do have.

I went and bought 4 in one day. Realized 4 months later that this is mere speculation and walked. Couldn't give away some of the names. Oh well. You get hooked - you lose - you walk before its too late. . . Good luck with your addiction!
