About prepositions in domain names...

Hi. I am somewhat new to all this.

is there some general view regarding usage of prepositions in domain names.. and how well that places in searches or traffic driving.. if for no other purpose, then merely parked domain traffic.

for example: forinternet.bla
or.. athotels.bla
afterflights.bla...
etc..

any insight would be really appreciated.

Google search ignores common words like articles. You may want to search for a list of current stop words.

like mentioned, I am new to all this. one week new to be precise. I knew nothing about domains before that time.

I understand my logic is faulty, but it was based on following.. I just say this so you can all have nice laugh:

I went to keywordspy, typed a keyword like INTERNET
the site then said about 260million people per month typed this into search engines.. I assume that meant all possible combinations of search strings, that included word internet.. I think that's what the site means.. so then I went into similar words, and saw some of those combos.. for instance.. I saw people typed in things like "how do I get on the internet".. "why internet".. and many more... so I thought to myself.. wouldn't one way to generate traffic be by using things like aboutInternet.ext or howinternet.ext

but I guess I'm just another newbie hitting a wall here. dead end. oh well. I guess we all start out as newbies in the end.

nonetheless, that site is quite cool. it shows you exact strings typed in.. and frequencies. but maybe today's traffic is no longer aqbout trying to match your domain name with exact type in strings.. still trying to connect the dots between domain name and actual string typed into google search box.
