doing this auction, i have found more often than not, so called professionals, are anything but.

have people gotten to the point where they feel they just have no need to answer another human being- even after repeated emails? newsletters, calendars, news sites- its been just disgusting.

yeah, i have certainly missed an email or two in all this, but when i get that second one- i am apologetic.

i have gotten so sour over this- but i do want to thank the one person who does answer his emails, he does keep his word.
he evened emailed me while on vacation, to say he was on vacation and would get back to me when he was back.
and he did, without me pestering him.

i really really mean it when i say thank god for ron from dnjournal. there you have a true profesional. this is why he has the best domain news site on the web, and is respected by all.
because he respects who he comes in contact with- even a little fish like me.

Ron has always been top shelf when I have had dealings with him.

Love his site. I don't think it gets enough respect by the domain community. I know everyone knows about it. But it is one of those things we take for granted. If that list didn't show up tonight, (and there was no explanation), I would not be a happy camper.

I do not think it is over-stating the case to say that DNJournal.com is one of the top 5 resources in the industry.

Hey Smash....sorry to hear you are having to go through this when all you are doing is trying to help everybody........

As for Ron......when I interviewed him (it was late Friday afternoon for him....probably the last thing he needed!!!) I came up with the only headline I thought would do justice to the interview - RON JACKSON OF DN JOURNAL - A JOURNALIST BY TRADE, A GENTLEMAN BY NATURE..............

You have just experianced some of that magic.....
