I received an offer via netsol's certified offer service for:
{domain name edited out}, which I picked up because I thought it was brandable, other "line" + letter combos were gone, and it appears to be a russian surname with 50K results in google.
The offer received is for the netsol minimum ( $100 ).
I could accept and make a small profit, but my thoughts are that I would pay more than that for my last name, and whoever has made the offer didn't seem to mind dropping $19 ( the netsol certified offer service charge ) just to make the offer.
A WIPO mark search returns no results.
I'd appreciate any advice, particularly on what a reasonable counter would be. ( the netsol service doesn't actually seem to have counter offers, you have to reply with either acceptance, or by setting a minimum acceptable price )
