A name with traffic but no PPC clicks.

I stumbled into a mortgage/refinance name which had dropped and gets several uniques/day but in near 600 (100+ yesterday) uniques no clicks. It was a developed site as late as March 2005.

Doesn't fit in to redirect to any of my developed sites. Anyone had luck with a mini-site in this area? Where it is parked uses Google so I am lost as to what to do with it. Is a .ws with PR0 so I figure selling is out.

Ideas to generate a bit of $??

sedo.com
or the other one
trafficz.com

it could be a minisite if brandable

It is at ND. They looked at tweeking it & still no clicks. May try Sedo. I don't have what it takes to park at Trafficz.

I looked at things & it appears the trafic is coming from the hundred or so financial sites which still link to the name so a PPC page may well not be offering anything new.

If I don't come up with something I may redirect it to a poker mini-site just for fun.

Starting to get an idea sparked by comments.

Design is no problem; a rss news feed is easy; payment calculator??; glossary of terms is easy.
Problems are; content without using wikipedia and I have had nothing but bad luck with aff links.

Wonder about trying YPN as the OVT bids for these terms are really nice -- is reason I reg'd the name to begin with.

Am chest deep in redesign/PHP on a client auction site right now but may try the supermini-site thing and look for an affilliate link or 2 in a week or so.

Thanks. You saved me a buch of time finding an affiliate site. Both these look about right for what I feel the traffic (now running over 100/day) may be looking for.

Could I get a look at your calculator? If I like what is cost?

I need to get on this before the traffic goes south.

I'm not familiar with ND, but It's possible that uniques tracking is a bit buggy and it's interpreting image calls from images that were once hosted on that website as uniques.

Try throwing it up on a server with a statistics program and see where the traffic is coming from and what pages / files are being accessed in the 404 logs.

From nothing? Naw. I think you are better off with a minisite. But it has to be the right type and target the visitors exactly. Obviously the visitors you are getting are either too smart for parking pages or not targeted in the slightest. I would venture to guess it is the latter.

Is ok ... It should look better with the stuff I plan on adding. I have the old site on my puter & who knows. I am sure that not all Archive.org content is 'public domain'. I am not done with it.

Been with a client today (landed the job) and just got home. When I looked a little while ago and not violating any TOS there have been clicks today. PLEASE don't ya'll go there and click as I want this to be a lagit test.
