Can you post the domain?

Best not to post the domain. The last thing you want to do is let your potential buyer know you're out here discussing the name he's interested in. :imho: of course.

I am sure he can post the domain with out the extension. Or pm if you want.

When I am unsure of the value or unsure how deep my buyers pockets are I send this.

Hello and thanks for your interest. I was going to develop this but have too much on my plate. If you care to give me your best offer I will decide. Thanks for your time. (something like that). Shows what he is willing to pay and go from there.

Some times I get really surprised by this and what they submit. Then I usually respond "that is close to what I want, how bout we meet here?" and bump it up a bit. BUT if it is a very pretty offer I would just take it and not play around. ALso negotiate he pay escrow fees to protect both of you.

good luck, gary.

That's a good way about heading about it. As the saying goes, the 1st person to name a price, loses. If you name a price, you don't know if their 1st offer would have been above your asking price or not.

Try to find out if he is a reputable lawyer. If he is, than you should go and try to get as much as you can. Be careful because he might run away once he will find out your price if it is too high.
