No, the best parked domains are those with organic (type in) traffic. Some programs do not allow any linking traffic

Yes, but only basic statistics like visitors, clicks, ctr%, not origin of traffic

No

~$20 and sometimes.

Phew, a slwe of questions here....so here goes....

1) choosing a parking company depends on the type of domain you have. Some say adult domains do better at Skenzo, other's say they do better at Sedo Pro or Bodis....the best way is to experiment with different parking companies to see which company gives you the best cpc, also, your keyword will be a big factor in determining your cpc.

2) promoting a parked domain is usually frowned upon by parking companies and can get you banned. Best type of parked domain is type in, expired domains or typo domains.

3) most parking companies provide stats, before you sign up, read up what they provide.

4) As far as I know, there is no company out there that binds you for a contractual period of time to have your domain parked there.

5) again, payout's differ from one parking company to another, some payout using paypal, other's do not, some require SS# or Tax ID (if in the US) and some not, again, you will have to do your research and experiment.

hope this helps, good luck.

Thanks guys for taking the time to answer my questions ... bare with me while I am still trying to understand parking of a domain ....

1. What companies do allow building links to your parked domain ? how about advertising with adwords ?

2. since the domains I have are not good for direct type in, is it better to actually develop them and put some sort of PPC ads on them ?

1. what parking do you suggest for a newbie ? Sent you a PM.

2. in order to get traffic a parked domain has be promoted and marketed like any other website right ? Many parking companies allow no promotion.

3. do the parking companies provide statistics ? how do they compare to google analytics ? Most show impressions and clicks. None compare to Google Analytics, but the one I sent you in PM allows you to put google code on your page.

4. is someone binded to have their domain parked for a fixed period of time ? No

5. what are some typical minimum payouts ? paypal accepted ? $50 most can pay via paypal.

Thanks guys
You have given very informative answers

It was suggested to me that if you use redirection to a sedo parked page then you can actually build backlinks to your domain !! does it hold true ?

GiorgosK, it is totally prohibited to drive traffic to your parked domains through Adwords or other advertising. Parking companies, when they discover you are doing this, will terminate your account and confiscate any unpaid earnings. Just don't do it. If your domains are earning natural traffic then great, park them. If not, then either sell them or develop them.

Most parking services provide good basic stats. There is no minimum contract length, minimum payout is usually $50, Paypal yes.

You have another alternative that is "WhyPark" but it costs a one time fee of $100 for 100 domains. It does however allow you use your own content instead of theirs.
It also allows you to use Adsense, affiliates programs etc. Their templates are very basic but you can edit them. You can also add your own pictures.

thanks Clocker24 and GILSAN,

GILSAN so whypark is really a hosting company that provides you with some templates that you can customize easily ?? If that is the case I don't see why use them for that extra cost of $100 if I have my own hosting (which I already pay) and I know how to drop a wordpress in it ?? please advise as of the rest of the benefits of whypark ...
