Well, I thought I'd like to share a short story that happened a couple years ago. I've posted this on a few other boards, but havn't posted it here.

I was in my 8th grade classroom sitting in my seat like everyone else was. The teacher was talking and not much was going on, then suddenly the class from across the hall came running out screaming. We were all confused wondering what the hell was going on. This has never happened before.

We soon learned that a bird flew into their classroom. Unfortunatly, the fan on the top of the ceiling was on...the bird flew straight into the fan... and SPLAT! The bird dies instantly, and his headless body falls to the floor. Now you ask where did the head go?... The head flies across the room... landing onto a girls neck. The blood stains on her shirt. She screams and goes crazy, and so does the rest of the class. And that is why they were outside screaming.

Map of class

Well, thats my story. 100% true. Nothing fake has been added to the story.

Just wondering, anything like this happen to you?...

Well not exactly the same but it involved a ceiling fan...

We were at Chevy's (Mexican food place) and they have a machine there the makes tortillas fresh. They give the little kids balls of dough to eat, play with, whatever... well were were there and one of the younger boys with us was playing with his ball of dough throughing it up in the air and catching it. He tossed it in the air and it got hit by the ceiling fan, which caused the dough ball to fly across to the next table and land next to some guys plate of food. That was funny enough but to add to it the little boy sneaks over and reaches from behind the guy and grabs the ball of dough and starts throwing it again

Ouch, this is exactly why you close the windows and turn on the air conditioning!

I think the bird flew through the door. We didn't have air conditioning. Only the bungalows did. So we had the fans on and the doors open :D

Wow, that has to be horrible for the girl it landed on. :(

I don't think I've ever had something like that happen. The most I can remember in 8th grade was a certain teacher having her, herm, body part pop out during class.

I've had birds fly into class rooms I've been in before, but they never once flew into the celing fan. I agree, I would be pretty freaked if a dead bird hand landed on me as well. Specially now days with the potential diseseas that birds carry.

Well I just remember that in 8th grade teacher used to beat me a lot. For coming late. For not doing the homework and for not wearing regular school dress or badge. :'(

this is something that happened to my wife and her friend. They were driving down the highway to go clean out an apartment that her friend owned, when a goose swooshed down into the windshield and into the car, partly. The neck hit the top of the car, and it's head flew off, so it was just the goose body. My newborn son was in the back seat, and the goose landed right next to him. Fortunately it flew through the center of the window, if it had hit either side of the windshield, it would have caused some serious bodily harm to my wife or her friend. Anyway, there was surprisingly very little blood, none at all on the upholstery. My son did suffer some minor scratches from the windshield debris, but nothing major, and he was still to young for it to have caused any phycological problems.

This is so cool...I wish I was there to see the head land on the girl. I would've laughed at her. :D:D:D:D

Lol, I wonder what the chances of that happening again are?

In 9th grade I was in my math class. Most of my classmates were in the same school for 8th grade. Some where actually in that class when the bird got beheaded. And some where in my class, across the hall.

One day the teacher was talking and stuff. Then a bird flies into the room, and everyone was reminded of what happened the year before so they all start laughing. But luckily we had no fans. So the teacher put the bird in a cardboard box, then let him go outside.
