the problem isn't that they are not insured....
it's not a matter of health insurance....we don't need health insurance.
the problem is that health care is not affordable without it.
When you pay your deductible every month, does that money go to the doctors or hospitals in your area? All the money that you give to a health insurance company....goes to the health insurance company. They are in this to make $$$, not to make sure you are taken care of.
Imagine if you had to buy food insurance so you could by your weekly groceries because the price of food was too high. Imagine $200 dollars for a gallon of milk, $50 dollars for a loaf of bread, and $30 dollars to check out of the store. You pay the food insurance company a fee of $500 not so you can buy your food....oh no, that $500 doesn't go to the store, it goes to the food insurance company and what you get in return are coupons off some items of food...like the cheap supermarket brand versions. If you want eggs, you have to ask your food rep. If you want to shop at a different store, you have to get a referral.
Insurance is means of guaranteeing protection or safety. Auto insurance, i can see that. Life insurance, ok there might be a need for that to. Insurance to go for a check up? Insurance to get your teeth cleaned? Insurance to get medicine? That's absurd.
