Here's a screenshot:

I am still wondering who are such buyers and why do they buy such names?

How many posts would we see if tomorrow he sells his domain for a billion dollars?
if he sold it he does not need to promote it anymore.. so probably zero.

Well I can imagine him showing he is right and whole namepros go bananas over this sale. I would propose a bet to see who is right, but since we will probably never have an answer, a bet would be pointless

That's a very high quality domain I can see why it should have went for even more than that.

In your mind it is a fact, others call it faith(or a delusion).

Becoming a widely-known fact, well... that is something completely different. I can believe that .horse is the best gtld ever because in my mind, it is a fact (belief) that horses are the most supreme animal in the world, and nothing could be better. Convincing others that it is true, would be a huge burden. The flip-side of that coin is convincing the believer himself otherwise as well....

In your mind it's a fact that's 'only a fact in my mind'.
From this view all facts are only facts in someones mind.

But I (am thanksful to be able that) I can detect it as a fact through my mind.
Because I (am thanksful to be able that) I can think and read and calculate and imagine.

Here is what I detect (among other things) in my life:

  • It's a fact that top means top.
  • It's a fact that top as TLD .top means also top
  • It's a fact that the maximum number of characters in a domain name is 63
  • It's a fact that top has 3 characters
  • It's a fact that the maximum number of top in 63 characters is 21 times
  • It's a fact that 3 characters x 21 times top = 63 characters
  • It's a fact that 63 characters : 21 times = 3 characters

Of course you (everyone) can believe whatever you (s/he) want.
I don't care if you (everyone) are (is) convinced or not because I know, that you (everyone) know/s that at the end the top is also above the horse.

What if we stop giving him attention?
In reality, if you reply to someone / something you are just giving yourself attention.

For me, the question is how many posts / opinions would I see / hear if I will sell my domain for more than 1,000,000,000.00 USD (more than one billion USD) todayyy / tomorrowww?

In how many threads? Forums? Articles? Newsfeeds? Headlines? Radio news? Talks? etc.?
Will the discussion ever come to an end then??? ?? ?
No, I think then it will really start!!! !! !

And I will observe it, together with the lucky buyer, trough a 360 VR live connection.

@dordomai
You can be 100 % sure that the buyer of it will be a lucky one after the purchase - otherwise he would not have bought it.

So basically you just extended my question and put some bold characters and a bit of color difference in there.

Have you registered kingoftopkingoftopkingoftopkingoftopkingoftopkingoftopkingoftop.top yet? This would be the ultimate king of top, as it is a perfect 63char domain, the maximum amount of "king of top" (7 times) in a domain and therefore the ultimate king of top. This of course is perfected with the ultimate extension, being .top.

False.

So basically you just extended my question and put some bold characters and a bit of color difference in there.

You asked how many posts you would see, I asked how many posts I would see.

Have you registered kingoftopkingoftopkingoftopkingoftopkingoftopkingoftopkingoftop.top yet? This of course is perfected with the ultimate extension, being .top.

It's not perfect because it end's not with ...of (like my domain kingof.top) before the .top as we can see:
...kingoftopkingoftopkingoftopkingof.top

It ends with ...kingoftop before the .top as we can see:
...kingoftopkingoftopkingoftopkingoftop.top

BTW
Your mentioned domain is registered already since months - but anyway - I don't need it becasue of the mentioned reason.
Also, at the end, the true 'king of top' can anyway only be the owner of the most possible
top in a .top domain (which is currently I, in future the future buyer) and not the owner of any other domain, equal which one.

If this was a fact they would have given him King.top rather than asking almost 9K to reg it. Still available.. JMO..

You're right. They should.

What do you say @vicho , with all the promotion - not to mention all the money he threw your way - why not give him a discount on king.top?

.top has the strongest presence here in the forums. They get even more attention than .xyz.
WIthout one single user they would be non-existent here. That alone should be worth king.top

@KINGOF.TOP , how much is the .top registry paying you?

1. Should we think in this way, then most of NP members must be Verisign staff. Guess you know what I mean.
2. Good registrars will give the discount to their loyal and big customers. Registries can't interfere.

This is not deniable; I'm sure his registrar is providing him with tiered discounts. These, however, do not apply to the $9000 premium price set by the .top registry. Only the .top registry can provide a discount on king.top... don't pass blame on to the registrars. :-P

What you're saying you can't give kingof.top, king.top for reg fee? Sure you can!

The premium price is set by you, surely you know that. LOL

@David Walker Just curious, off topic but how does someone get a line through their username? This was brought to my attention from another member.. Is there a meaning for this or just a glitch?

I'm no longer a moderator if you haven't noticed, but from past experience from seeing this occur to other members, this usually meant a closed (or possibly limited) account.
