I see a lot of posts asking for this type of information, and also a lot of posts with inaccurate information, so I thought I would make this available to everyone.

If anyone sees a problem with any of my statistics please let me know...

This report was pulled from the zone file which exempts any domains without nameservers. Which as best as I can tell runs about a 1-2% average.

I'm sure they know a lot of 5L chip domain investors are hoping for a buyout before the mass November renewals.

A buyout after November would greatly benefit Chinese investors as they can get these domains on the drop.

No buyout = Mass panic liquidation at much lower prices than reg fees.

Please don't take me seriously as I could be wrong

It's a trick of the chinese. They always go slow before the buyout-to create panic. I remember in last nov, LLLL.biz were 87% bought out. But suddenly registrations stopped. There were no registrations for 10 days or so. but then BOOM, last 13% got registered in one single day and complete Chips buyout happened.

It is typical Chinese style which Western domineers don't understand but few Asian Domineers do understand(as they are closer to them)..

Many investors bought 1,000's of average patterns in 5L chips.

How many will start to panic sell before November (cut their loses) or even drop after November if no buyout.

If you own 1,000 5L chips it's $8.5k in renewals. Not many investors have planned for this.

China is in full control and know how to work the chip market.

It's just my theory but...

They can't grab as many as they'd wish. The best are all taken and a lot are in Western hands.

A buyout would only intensify this. The Chinese method would be to slow the market down (no buyout).

From this a lot get liquidated and even more get dropped. Both of these options create new opportunities for people with funds who missed the 5L boat.

It's just the way things go... people with funds will renew their 5L chips and see what happens in the next 12 months.
