50k in 500 days

I made close to $50,000.00 in 500 days with my blog at http://www.bloggernoob.com/500-days-and-still-making-money-online/11/

I use a variety of marketing techniques and ad systems. In the beginning, paid posts and link selling seemed to work best. As i grew in search engine traffic, i started doing a lot better with affiliate commissions. I still haven't figured out google adsense, but i will add that into the mix in the near future.

Do you guys also set up blogs for monetization? What kinds of blogs? How do you monetize your blogs?

Don't take offense but If you earned that much why have you not paid a designer to get you an amazing design for your blog?

Yes this is true. I don't think that design has that much to do with blog monetization. It's all about getting a lot of anchored backlinks. If you check out previous income report, you can see some screenshots for proof.

I also want to stress that PR isn't the end all be all of web monetization. There are a lot of low pr sites that make consistent income.

PR should not be a concern if you are monitizing a site. I consistently outrank PR5 and PR6 "authority' sites with my lowly PR1 sites. I would only worry about PR if I were looking to sell a site because it seems to bring higher dollar in a sale. It's all about backlinks! Contrary to popular belief, content is NOT king - backlinks are!

I didn't mean that the design was stopping you from earning but I think for your users sake if your earnign that much, then why not pay for a nice clean design?

Yes thats true, PR0 can earn 50k in a year but it should not be happen if it is not monetize..

how does that equate to 1000 dollars a day? i think u did the math wrong.

i've posted screenshots in my other posts. u can check that for proof. althought, it is just as easy to fake screenshots. i guess it's all a matter of credibility of the webmaster.
