500 uniques a day gambling domain - Referred traffic, what to do?

Hi Guys,

I have a domain I recently aquired that gets around 500 uniques from Europe daily generated from various backlinks and advertisments on other sites the previous owner had generated. So 95%+ of the traffic is referral traffic. This traffic has been consistant since october and shows no sign of stopping.

For the last week I simply have the domain redirecting to a darkblue casino affiliate link, I have had 2658 impressions and 140 clicks in 5 days 0 conversions or sales.

Obviously because this traffic is referred traffic and not type in I am guessing parking it will violate parking company terms.

Anyone got any ideas? Is my darkblue option the best one? has anyone done similar and if so what conversion rates have youe experienced?

The text anchors associated say something along the lines of "Free cash to bet, Huge welcome bonuses, Visit Now!"

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

You're pretty much right on that, especially true of the one place that would really do well with it, Fabulous. You can always attempt to park it at Sedo, but from what I hear, if they see traffic on a name die down all of a sudden, they will not pay you and probably ban the name and/or you.

I think you should leave it at Fabulous.

My opinion is the affliate banner type promotions are not as quick for the payout to come in. With those kinds of traffic numbers it will happen. You will get sign ups. You are used to the quick few cent payouts happening every time you log in. Give it a couple months, maybe three. By then you may find a BIG PAYOUT!


Add up a bunch of clicks for a few cents and you have a few dollars. Add up a couple banner clicks from traffic that is targeted and you have a big roll. Especially if the banner ads are on Fabulous.

That's what I'd do. Fabulous rocks, you have to be patient though.
