400,000 .mobi Domain Names Now Registered

"DUBLIN, Ireland and WASHINGTON, March 5 /PRNewswire/ -- dotMobi, the company behind the first and only Internet address designed specifically for mobile phones, today announced more than 400,000 .mobi domains have been registered in 104 countries since the domain's launch in October 2006. Yes but 100,000 .com domain names were developed in the first ten years of that domains existence.

I think after the auction this week there will be another 50k-100k registrations. I am sure that within 10 years there will also be at least 100k mobi names that are developed.
