$4.19 domain reg at GoDaddy

Why do you guys stick to web hosting for enabling $1.99 promotion?
I'd purchase 5 Email Forwarding ($2.95) instead, so the subtotal is $5.19 (1.99 + 0.25 + 2.95).
With a discount code, DAVID (-$1) for example, the net price is $4.19.

Actually I don't know if it works through; I haven't clicked the Checkout button. :p
But at least this is the price displayed in my shopping cart.

What are you talking about?! Email Forward is free, you can't buy it. Can you explain it better?

Last time I checked, minimum is 6.19

Basic email forwarding is free only for 100 addresses of domains registered at GoDaddy.

There is also paid email forwarding. It is used for 100+ addresses or for domains not registered at GoDaddy.

Didn't work... got $11.15. Its not elected to get the 1.99, that's the problem, I guess.

Unfortunately, they seem to have made some adjustment.
5 Email Forwarding no longer enable the $1.99 promotion in my shopping cart...

But instead, I found SMTP Relaying can be used:

Right now I'm seeing $4.19 in my shopping cart.
But again, I don't know if it works through; I haven't clicked the Checkout button, just because I don't want to reg my domains at GoDaddy. :p

If you try by yourself, you may want to do it in a hurry. They may close the door again.

It is showing 3.94 for a .us domain

and

4.19 for .com

Just remember to cancel it right away though

and try to ask for a refund

Look at the bottom of the top page. There is a little link labeled [Catalog].
