I know that both are popular domain suffixed but which one do you think is better. I have to buy a few domains with this suffix and I am unable to decide which one to use?

Any advice would be helpful!

IMO 360 is better than 365,

360 is nicer to say :) and its degrees.. i like that..

What's good about 365???

I thought 360 was overated but why do you say that 365 is a popular suffix?

Because there is 365 days in a year?

Can you give me an example of a popular website with the 365 suffix?

May I ask what about 247 then?? :red:
Is it far behind??

Obviously it depends on the useage.. I just regged virtualtours360.info ... I think that fits. But something else might call for 365 or 247..

I like 360 more too. Yes 365 meant days of the year, and the point regarding 247 that you made was a good one because I dont like 247 all that much myself. That's another good reason to go for 360.

Hmmm....I would say if its tour related or something like that then 360 would be your best bet. If its a service or something in that realm then 365 or 247 IMHO.

I own http://getcredit365.com

Personally, I think it fits well, especially with the slogan, you be the judge..

Why do you "have to" buy them?

I think it's all about usage.

Example:
carinsurance365.com or carinsurance247.com tend to make more sense/be more appropriate than carinsurance360.com.

At other times, any of the three will work fine.

I agree, it all depends on the prefix / suffix. tech360 and tech365 both make sense, and tech247 too....

is 360 related to the degree? (like 90 degree for a right angle)

Yes, as in an all about, or a complete and/or unobstucted view of (insert domain topic here).

Austin, TX (Hookem' Horns!) has a very well publicized site about the region called Austin360.com. I believe it was an independent site back when it started, but after the dot com bubble burst, I think the local newspaper group bought it.

You could use 360 for the Xbox 360 also.

That;s not the only reason why I like the "360" suffix better though.

I never heard of "365" being used in a domain before reading this thread, and, personally, I don't like it. Since "24/7" is generally read "twenty-four seven", rather than "two forty-seven", it doesn't make a very nice fit. 360 is the easist to remember out of the three -- and I'd only use 360 as a suffix if the keyword is a great, generic term that fits the suffix. :)

Good luck,
Steve
