30- letter domain name nets $400

Don't always poo-poo the long domain names.
Today I completed the sale of Hydrocodonewithoutprescription.com and netted over $400 with a hold time of less than two years.
There are still nuggets to be harvested

Actually I've seen alot of businesses with LONG domains.. most are complete phrases of one sort or another. I think the new trend is to say what you need to say. A long domain may be hard to type in but may help with brandability.

I know that maybe keywords will be the "key" for future PPC conversions, but .... this one is a raw diamond found in the backyard

I have pretty heavy load of pharmacy names in my portfolio.
I mostly sell ED meds through names like http://sildenafilcitrate.net and viagra-sample.com and let's not forget the famous ViagraBlog.com
I've got others in the cialis and levitra space as well as cholesterol, diet, diabetes supplies, birth control patches and more.

After working on it part time for 18 months, I am clearing no less than a grand per month and my record has been $3800 net in one month. That's a LOT of erections, Sha-wing!
I'm starting to have some traffic "break throughs", and I hope to be soon cresting $5K a month with higher highs but also higher lows.
I NEVER use PPC, it's all "natural" traffic. I tried my hand at pop-unders, but it was too nerve racking to lay out $500 or $1000 on advertsing and hope to break even. I DID break even or profited, but I prefer spending the resources in generating natural traffic.

Anyway, I bought hydrocodonewithoutprescription.com as a result from a keyword troll-fest. It got some clicks, probably made about $4-5 a month parked. I took first offer for the sale with no counter offers- I didn't want to risk the $400 net profit. The transaction went through in about three weeks.

Otherwise, at $4-5 a month it was still a keeper.

Agreed. I have a 22 letter dot com I wouldn't sell for less than 4 figures.
It gets type in traffic and $1+ per click.
