LLL.CC, LLL.IN and LLL.CO.IN are the ones that are most likely to run out next.

No, so if you have any, I'll take them off your hands for a few bucks.

(Honestly? Yeah - 3 letters in MOST popular extensions are valuable. .com/.net/.org/.us/.info/.biz/.mobi/.eu/.etc)

Yet again, in case English isn't your 1st language, I was kidding...

3 letter domains are worth a pretty penny (Expensive).

Now if you mean 3 CHARACTER domains (As in, numbers and letters mixed together, like 53d.net or d3a.net, then those go closer to $10 each for .net's - see http://www.3character.com for a better idea of everything.)

I just bough a NNN.info today at $190. A little higher than current marketing price but I believe I would get profit for it by selling it out in 2007

LLL.cc and LLL.in

Just sold one LLL.cc for $59 (acronym domain)

As far as lll.in is considered, not sure when all would be registered, fortunately I had regged 3 domains few months back.

mni.in
hsp.in

Depends- really nice pronouncable with premium letters are quite valuable - but you are not likely to get them for reg. fee. There still are lots of LLLL.com available to register - about 90% are taken. So you can't register one today and expect to sell it tomorrow, at least very often. LLLL.com are a long term investment, they will likely sell out in about a year and values will rise, slowly at first as the short time flippers unload, then as those clear the market they should move to the $50 - 100 range, based on the value of LLL.com. But there will be two renewals between now and then.

I have some LLLL.com, am buying more carefully. There is a lot of disagreement as to which are the best remaining names, but I would think the group has been picked over enough so it is down to two questions:

Does it contain any QXYZ? These are the worst.

Does it have more than one JKWUV? There are exceptions here but more than one (except duplicate letters) is a negative.

All normally available reg fee LLLL.coms will have at least one of the above 9 letters. The rest have been gone for ages.

From here you get into arguements about which letters are better, letter order, sorta pronounceable, and lots of other things. I doubt in the end it will matter all that much, they are all mid-low level and will sell in the same price range to resellers when the time comes.

Need guidance - like for LLL - ABCDFGILMNOPRST are premium chars and HJKQWVUXYZ hold less value, likewise is there something similar for NNN domains also?

Numeric domains

Numeric domains are popular in china.

I have heard the number "4" symbolizes death in some countries and hence its considered as less valuable.

As read in a website

http://www.travelchinaguide.com/intro/social_customs/lucky_number.htm

The number 2 (Er), usually suggests germination and harmony, at wedding celebrations, decorations are invariably setout in pairs: a pair of red candles, a pair of pillows, and couplets hung on two sides of the hall.

Number 6, pronounced as 'Liu', conveys indirectly its homophony's meaning โ€“ Do everything smoothly.

Number 8, 'Ba' in Chinese has a similar sound to 'Fa', which means to make a fortune. All business men favor this number very much. However four, is the exception to the even number rule as it sounds like 'Si' (death). So when people choose car license tags, phone numbers, and room numbers, they try to avoid it.

FGI.com is on snap right now... went from opening bid of $60 USD to over $10,000 bucks in just a couple hours.

x-l.com (3-character) went up for $60 and it sits at rougly $1,500 right now. Still a day to go.

I've sold 2 3-character .NET domains for at or over $100 in the past month.

Sale on Ej7.net is pending, Q33.net is about to be put up for offers...

Yeah... people still buy 3 letter/number/character domains.
