I thought this would be interested and if you know anyone from Greece please let me know.

uman.tv

I've had this name since July and it barely got any traffic until we hit October. Then all of a sudden it got the most traffic of any of my domains. In fact it is more than my next top 10 traffic domains combined! More than 3000 verified hits on SEDO.

So I took a look and saw that 95% of the traffic was coming from Greece. So I did the next obvious thing and that is search on Google for Uman.tv and Greece.

this must be the reason for the traffic some how, but why are people coming to uman.tv? They wouldn't market anything like that w/o owning the domain name. So if you are from Greece, please let me know if you have any ideas

And better yet, help me broker this deal since it is obviously valuable to somebody

Yes it is a new TV show here with this name and MegaChannel is the more successful channel in Greece.
Will check if they have something on web for it

.tv are very often used here in Greece for .tv shows even though I doubt they are going to buy any domain.

I had a similar Greek episode when out of nowhere in January this year the name PILES got 3424 hits and earned me about 6 euros.

The name eventually calmed down and now runs at 150 to 200 hits a month.

I haven't the feintest whether it is going to shoot back up again or go into decline - I just presume it was a one-off.

Hopefully, your Greek TV viewers will like the reason that caused your spike and stay with it for the next few years!
