.tv .TV Type In traffic what's the trend ?

Anybody experiencing increasing type in traffic for any .TV domain ?

What's the highest unique type ins for any .TV that you know of ?

I get around 400-500 per month for PornTV.TV
And a 30% ctr

I also have another generic that gets almost 400 a month, that was a hand reg way back a few years ago.

I have seen a couple names that got no traffic that are now getting traffic.

not bad ...

if we see type ins increasing ... look out values will start spiking upwards

I only have one that is doing 500 uniques a month ... tiny increases.

I have cannock*tv which hashad no publicity whatsoever and in the last 32 days has had 492 uniques for reasons I know not nor understand.

just checked my parked names, the best one got 1684 hits last month. and so far this month got 129 hits. but with very low CTR. the rest got around 100-200ish/month, but with better CTR. yes, generally the traffics are increasing..

I believe that if the .TV momemtum continues more people will be curious to

see the .TV of certain domains and type-ins will grow and grow and values

will follow.

I have some long standing quite nice geo and other .tv that have had little or no traffic in the past and there is no change.

I would say not much but hard to tell.

I have ElectionNews.tv that gets traffic, and if I had an extra 5-6 hours, I would go balls deep on some dev and videos for it.

I have HollywoodReport.tv that gets steady traffic, but not really increasing.

A couple of legal lawyer sites as well.

To me, the adsense pays the bills. All of my live sites make enough to cover hosting and renewel fees. If they don't, they are sold or dropped.

now- and dont get me wrong till i am done- i was under tthe impression that for the most part- .com only gets pure type in traffic. if a site is not advertised at all- then what would possess someone to type in something.tv, or something.org or something.anything for that matter?

i am NOT saying type ins are not happening, and i am NOT saying do not get any other extension- what i am saying is- what is the true makeup here of this traffic-

are these uniques real type ins, or clicks- did you have it in a sig, maybe mention it in a thread, do bots count at all in this?

Smash you make a good point.
Type in traffic is not really the important thing right now, it's traffic overall.
IF you buy domains for type in traffic then buy .com's (i know some .tv's do get type in's but on the most part they get little)

My developed .tv's do well from search engine traffic, even with my limited SEO skills Cranes.tv gets 90% of it's traffic from search engines (though it's not a high traffic site)
Cranes.tv manages to get in the 1st page of google & Yahoo consistently for terms such as 'Crane Hire Scotland' "Crane Sales Uk" "Crane Repairs" and so on...etc
though of course this is a niche subject, it is a good sign that we can get much better traffic that many of the .com UK Cranes sites that have been around for years. IMHO

Over the past month or two, one of my parked .tvs is getting a few visits.
The domain is WebCamChannel.tv

No idea what has caused this sudden urge for someone to visit this site, as previously, it has never received a single visit - in the last 2 months, its had over 100 !!!

Can't explain why this one has suddenly become popular.

We have consistently gotten 8-10 type ins on charlotte.tv and eastbay.tv although as this graph shows

with 1/2 the traffic coming from outside the US - my feeling is some of that traffic is domainers checking out other .tv sites.

I have a parked domain that gets about 1500 uniques each month (slight increase each month also).

The kicker is that I believe it gets all its traffic off the [name]tv.com site with people typing in [name].tv.

i think stats are very weird ;-( take my own smashfactory.com site- now in my stats it does show the separation of visitors, and hits made by bots- but if stats dont make that separate, it would be all together-
and for some reason weird stuff is always showing up in stats- like i show in my stats this past month, 98 hits from http://pacificair.com/ to smashfactory- now, that makes NO sense at all- none-
